Fran Silvestre新作 | 白色极简的无限可能

Fran Silvestre Arquitectos is an architectural design studio based in Valencia, Spain, founded by Fran Silvestre in 2005 as a multidisciplinary architect. Fran Silvestre, born in May 1976 in Spain, graduated from the School of Architecture in Valencia in 2001 and specialised in urban planning at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Subsequently, he won a scholarship from the studio of architect Alvaro Siza with the Pritzker Prize from Portugal. And collaborated with him on the project.

House of Sun

向日住宅

Fran Silvestre has completed House of Sun, a unique residence in Marbella, Spain. The house sits on a large slope and is considered to be a viewing spot on the horizon. This seems like a good place for an astronomical observatory, but this project is a house. The studio designed a circular space open to the sky and horizon, while also avoiding the stares of others and the strong winds of the area. The house extends to infinity in the form of a white element that contrasts sharply with the blue sky, the sea and the land color of the island.

巴西舒适 景观

Located on a hillside near the Itanhanga golf course in Rio de Janeiro, the house consists of two volumes stacked together on the ground. A floor with a day area rises above the adjacent house. As a passable space, it opens up the swimming pool area located in the inner courtyard, where the cantilever of this element creates a kind of covered garden.

在住宅上层，每个房间都享受着里约热内卢的景观，而入口走廊通往后院，促进了交叉通风。这个体量与另外一个较低的体量之间的关系形成了一个有遮蔽的阴影区域，这在水池层中是理想的，反过来也允许进入住宅的通道。两个不同排列的通道空间，充分利用其优越环境的最佳品质。

On the upper level, each room enjoys views of Rio de Janeiro, while an entrance corridor leads to the backyard, facilitating cross-ventilation. The relationship between this volume and the other lower volume forms a shaded area, which is ideal in the pool level and in turn allows access to the house. Two different arrangement of passage Spaces take full advantage of the best qualities of their superior environment.

Fran Silvestre has designed an all-white house on a steep plot in response to the dramatic changes in the terrain. The house is by Benahavis Hosue, a development near Marbella in Costa Rica, southern Spain. To take advantage of the site's views, the main living Spaces of the house are located on the higher floors and supported by a single volume at right angles to the slope.

The volume of the project contains the technical and service areas of the house, which includes a terrace and a swimming pool that extends out onto the garden. The basement also houses a garage, a large storage area, steam room and dressing room, and a bedroom. The studio has positioned the living and sleeping areas to the southwest and features floor-to-ceiling Windows and a covered terrace that takes advantage of the surrounding views.
