Winter McDermot is an interior design studio based in New York, USA, founded in 2015 by Maureen Winter McDermott. Focusing on the design of high-end residential Spaces, the studio sought to bring a fresh, unique and modern design to the Hamptons and beyond.

Maureen Winter McDermott is a graduate of the New York Institute of Interior Design and has worked for many of the leading design and architecture firms in New York and the Hamptons. Her aesthetic was formed under the guidance of design idol and mentor Vicente Wolf. Maureen believes that design should tell a cohesive story, not confined to decoration, but something that fits in with the building.

Maureen Winter McDermott's design approach and philosophy: Less is more. She likes simple, smooth lines, and architectural interior design is the foundation of her design. She also always wanted a space to relax and wanted the interior to feel peaceful. At the same time, she is always looking for the highest level of craftsmanship among skilled craftsmen, who are passionate and meticulous about creating beautiful things, encouraging people to feel the care given by handmade objects. Maureen believes it gives people a soul inside and really makes them shine.

Designer Maureen is keen to create accessible, relaxed interiors that provide a calm and tranquil environment. She is based in Sag Harbor, New York, where she lives with her husband, Michael, and two children, P.J. and Winter.
