Ciszak Dalmas is a full-service Architecture and Design Studio based in Madrid, founded in 2009 by Alberto Gobbino Ciszak and Andrea Caruso Dalmas.The studio works across a range of disciplines including architecture, interior, product design and art direction, and has collaborated in the past years with different realities.

Alberto Gobbino Ciszak and Andrea Caruso Dalmas graduated from the Politecnico di Torino and completed the European Design Labs Master. Before establishing their practice, Alberto and Andrea joined as designers Inga Sempè in Paris, Artemide in Milan, Pininfarina and BRH+ in Turin, collaborating in projects for LucePlan, Cappellini, Ligne Roset, Magis and Jacuzzi regarding product, industrial, exhibit and interior design.

They are associate professors at the Bachelor in Design at the IE University and visiting professors at IED Madrid. They have been holding lectures in an international framework, such as the Biennale di Architettura in Venice, Salone del Mobile in Milan, Experimenta Design in Lisbon and Design Ambassador in Hong Kong.In 2016 theybegan a close collaboration with the Matteo Ferrari, consolidating the relationship between experimentation and multidisciplinary in the field of design.

Born in Modena, Italy, he studied architecture at the University of Ferrara where, after a year of exchange at the Catholic University of Córdoba, Argentina, he finished his studies in 2008.He landed in Madrid that same year to begin his professional career and, after passing through various architecture studios, in 2011 he ended up at Teresa Sapey's studio as Director, participating in such outstanding projects as the Hotel Roomate Pau in Barcelona, the refurbishment of two luxury floors at Albert Court in London or the Paris Photo VIP Room at the Grand Palais in Paris.

In 2016 he founded his own studio, Matteo Ferrari, to channel his concerns in the field of design, seeking to redefine the links between the creative process, aesthetics and functionality.User and environment represent the starting point of a holistic process that, through simple gestures, aims to provide the space with a unique, recognizable and timeless value. The acquired know-how is put at the service of light and materials in order to develop inspiring spaces with a strong emotional and aesthetic value, which provoke a cognitive experience in the viewer.

Yinji：在你的作品中，你想呈现什么样的设计理念?

Ciszak Dalmas：我认为作为一个设计师最大的优势是学习新事物的能力，并且不害怕尝试。很多时候，我们不知道我们将要达到什么样的结果，但是我们非常确信，最基本的事情是相信这个过程。结果会表现出你在发展阶段有多么关心，多么有远见，多么有毅力... ... 别忘记还有一点点运气。

Yinji：你如何看待设计与材料的关系?在你的工作中，你善于巧妙地运用“贫”与“富”的材料组合。这种独特的设计方法，你想表达什么样的设计精神，或者背后的意义?

Ciszak Dalmas：提升材料的纯度，让我们发现隐藏的价值，直观的表达品牌理念。我相信有新一代的设计师能够用材料诠释他们的时代精神。

Yinji：我们观察到你的作品有一个特点：不完美的完成，独特的造型感，你怎么看待完美?

Ciszak Dalmas：我们喜欢有意义的简单，但是不超越它。

Yinji：在你的作品中，你是如何实现光、质、色、形的完美结合的?

Ciszak Dalmas：反复试验，反复试验，直到我们得到完美的组合。

Yinji：设计了很多商店空间。您如何看待未来商业空间的设计趋势?人们更喜欢在具有哪些特征的空间中刺激消费欲望。
